How to make it

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Combine peaches with syrup, cornstarch and cinnamon in large
  • saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
  • Boil and stir 1 minute.
  • Pour into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Keep hot in oven while preparing the topping.
  • Stir remaining ingredients into a soft dough.
  • Remove casserole dish from oven.
  • Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto hot peach mixture.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown.
  • Serve warm.

    In the second step of the instructions you say to add the syrup, but I don't see syrup in the ingredient list?
    Nonetheless this recipe sounds wonderful and simple.
    Would be perfect for Thanksgiving, a change from apple pie!
