Exotic lychee fruit lends a touch of sweetness to this barbecue sauce. Great for anything – meat, poultry, vegetables, fish or seafood. Particularly good with broccoli, cause it soaks in!

Ingredients
  • ½ cup peeled, seeded lychees, drained and finely diced
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 dashes hot sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Directions
  1. Combine lychees, ketchup, white wine, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, chili powder, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes or until thickened.
