Spicy Stuffed Pepper Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound spicy italian sausage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 28 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can ro-tel tomatoes; mild or spicy
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups green pepper, chopped
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 14 ounces water (more if still too thick)

Directions
  1. In Dutch oven, brown ground beef & sausage, drain.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low.
  5. Cover and simmer until peppers are tender about 35-40 minutes.
