Richards Coleslaw Recipe

Richards Coleslaw Recipe
This is my own, off the beaten track, coleslaw recipe. It is a beautiful and zesty dish to accompany barbecue, fried fish, etc. I hope you enjoy it.

  • 3 cups shredded cabbage; shredded
  • 1 cup shredded purple onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded gold or orange bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 2/3 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fine ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Prepare the vegetables by slicing, shredding or grating very thin.

This looks great!! Can't wait to try it. Thanks!

I know it's delicious, and I can just picture all those beautiful colors combined in a big bowl! Reminds me of an artist's palette. :)

Hi Richard! This is the way I like coleslaw. I've never cared for the mayo versions. Sounds Terrific!
