How to make it
- Combine nuts, sugar and butter in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until nuts are well-coated and sugar is caramelized.
- Quickly stir in vanilla.
- Spread on a sheet of heavy foil and, using two forks, quickly separate nuts.
- Cool and store in an airtight container.
- Makes about 1/2 pound.
