Chicken Tikka Masala

- marinade shopping list
- • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces shopping list
- • 6 tbsp natural yogurt shopping list
- • 2 tsp of lemon/lime juice shopping list
- • 1 tsp turmeric shopping list
- • 2 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- • 2 tsp coriander and cumin powder shopping list
- • 2 tsp of ginger and garlic crushed (almost pureed) shopping list
- • salt to taste shopping list
- TIKKA masala PASTE shopping list
- • 1large onion chopped shopping list
- • 2.5 cm/1 inch fresh ginger, crushed shopping list
- • 2 cloves garlic, crushed shopping list
- • 1-2 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- • 2 tsp chilli powder (or non if you like) shopping list
- • 1 tsp coriander powder shopping list
- • 1 tsp cumin powder shopping list
- • 8 tbsp tomato puree shopping list
- • 1 tsp salt shopping list
- • 6 tbsp double cream shopping list
- • Sprig of fresh coriander leaves shopping list
How to make it
- METHOD
- 1. Mix together the marinade ingredients,
- coat the chicken pieces and leave overnight.
- In a large wide pan, heat the oil and fry the onion over a medium heat until brown.
- Add the ginger and garlic to the onion pan and sauté then add the spices and cook for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the tomato puree and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken, stir in and cook for 10 – 15 minutes at medium heat with lid on.
- Add the cream and gently stir the chicken for 3-5 minutes

This is sooooooo Good!!!! It's so good that we all devoured it before I even thought of getting a picture of it, lol. But I will definitely make this is again and take a photo!
