Crispy onion rings

- 2 large (about 800g) onions shopping list
- plain flour shopping list
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup (80g) grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 cups (140g) stale breadcrumbs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons seasoned pepper shopping list
- oil for deep-frying shopping list
How to make it
- Cut onions into 5mm slices. Toss rings in flour; dip into eggs, then combined cheese, breadcrumbs and pepper. Refrigerate onion rings 1 hour. Deep-fry onion rings in hot oil until browned and crisp; drain on absorbent paper.
