Ingredients
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced your choice but don;t use macs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons dry tapioca
  • 1 lemon, squeeze out juice and save
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Directions
  1. Before going out and raking the leaves this fall...
  2. In medium bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and tapioca until evenly coated.
  3. Place apples in the crock pot.
  4. Pour lemon juice over top.
  5. Pour in boiling water.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve warm, add raisins if desired.
