How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Mix together ground turkey with egg, breadcrumbs, basil, onion, soy sauce, garlic and salt and pepper (easy on the salt)
  • Work meat until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Take a large piece of wax paper or saran wrap and lay meat mixture onto it.
  • Press meat flat so that it is long and wide enough to stuff and roll up.
  • Put defrosted, drained spinach (ring out the spinach to remove all the moisture) and provolone onto the flattened meat.
  • Roll it up using the paper to help you and seal the ends.
  • Carefully transfer to baking sheet seam side down.
  • Bake covered for the first 30 minutes and bake uncover the remining time.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before cutting.
