Italian Turkey Roll with Provolone and Spinach

- 2lbs ground turkey shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 cups shredded good quality provolone shopping list
- package frozen spinach shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped basil shopping list
- 1/2 cup minced sweet onion shopping list
- several drops soy sauce, about 3 tbsps shopping list
- 3-4 cloves of garllic, minced shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Mix together ground turkey with egg, breadcrumbs, basil, onion, soy sauce, garlic and salt and pepper (easy on the salt)
- Work meat until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Take a large piece of wax paper or saran wrap and lay meat mixture onto it.
- Press meat flat so that it is long and wide enough to stuff and roll up.
- Put defrosted, drained spinach (ring out the spinach to remove all the moisture) and provolone onto the flattened meat.
- Roll it up using the paper to help you and seal the ends.
- Carefully transfer to baking sheet seam side down.
- Bake covered for the first 30 minutes and bake uncover the remining time.
- Let rest for a few minutes before cutting.
