Preserved Kumquats Recipe

Preserved Kumquats Recipe
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Morgan Estate in Austin, Texas in 1982.

  2. Meanwhile wash kumquats and cut small cross in blossom end of each.
  3. Place in cooled syrup.
  4. Cover and bring to boil then simmer 1 hour.
  5. Do not remove cover at end of cooking time or fruit will shrink.
