Ingredients

How to make it

  • Core the apples but do not peel. Dice them into bite size pieces. Sprinkle on the lemon juice to keep the apples from turning.
  • Slice the celery hearts and add to the apples. Add raisins and walnuts and toss to mix.
  • Fold in the mayonnaise gently, tossing only to coat the ingredients.
  • Refrigerate until needed. Serve 1/4 of salad mixture on 1/2 cup of shredded lettuce.

    I am making this tonite, minus the lettuce and had to substitute pecans cause I didnt have walnute. Thanks for the recipe, lost mine from years ago!
