Meat Loaf With Pecan Stuffing

- pecan Stuffing: shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup oil shopping list
- 2 cups whole-wheat bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 c. pecans, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 c. meat stock or water shopping list
- Meatloaf: shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 c. bell pepper shopping list
- 1/3 c. onion, both chopped shopping list
- 1 Tbls. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 c. white bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 c. milk shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Pecan Stuffing:
- Combine egg, oil, whole-wheat bread crumbs, celery, black pepper, meat stock, and chopped pecans. Set aside. Meatloaf:
- Combine beef with bell pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, white bread crumbs, milk and egg. Mix thoroughly; place half of mixture in bottom of greased loaf pan. Spread pecan stuffing on top of the meat mixture. Arrange the second half of the meat mixture on top of stuffing. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
