Ingredients
  • Apple Brownies
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 to 3 cups apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts (optional)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions
  1. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and eggs. Stir in apples
  2. and nuts. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda,
  3. baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Fold into apple mixture.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9-by-13-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
  6. Serves how many: Makes 12 brownies.
