Gooey Butter Cake Recipe

Ingredients

Bottom Batter

1 Box Yellow Cake Mix

1 Stick Butter

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

Top Batter

1 pkg. 8 oz. Cream Cheese

1 lb box Powder Sugar or 1/2 of a 2lb bag or 31/2 Cups

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

Bottom

Mix Bottom Batter Ingredients together.

Spread in bottom of 9x13 ( Greased and Floured) pan (hard to spread).

Top

Mix top ingredients together.

Pour on top of Bottom ingredients.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 Minutes.

Will be light golden brown, firm but gooey.

We call these gooey bars! Love them! I use this exact recipe, except I put the vanilla in the cream cheese layer.
