Cheesy Sausages

- 6 thick pork sausages shopping list
- 6 rashers of back bacon shopping list
- 4oz cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 tbsp pickle (or sweet chutney) (optional) or alternatively I have used mustard shopping list
- Few wooden cocktail sticks shopping list
- 4 slices of bread shopping list
- Little butter shopping list
How to make it
- Prick the sausages with a fork and grill under a moderate heat for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from grill and make a slit in each sausage, lengthways.
- Wedge a slice of cheese into each slit.
- Cut the rind from the backon and spread with the chutney.
- Wrap the bacon round the sausages and pin securely with cocktail sticks.
- Return to the grill and cook for about 5 minutes, until bacon is crispy and cheese is melting.
- Toast the bread, spread with butter and serve with sausages
