My mom has been making this since I was a little kid. Likely the first cheese cake she ever made. This always cracks. We serve it with cherry pie filling.

Ingredients
  • 3 (8 ounces) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 pound butter, sweet, room temperature
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 pint sour cream

Directions
  1. Mix on high speed the first 8 ingredients for 4 minutes.
  2. Then add heavy cream and mix 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Butter a 2 pound spring pan.
  4. Sprinkle sides and bottom with bread crumbs (unseasoned of course!)
  5. Bake at 350 degrees
  6. for 1 hour
  7. Cool before removing from pan
