Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 4 extra-large eggs
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp. rum flavoring or 2 tbsp. rum
  • 1 - 1 ½ cups candied fruits
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • Marble:
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • ¼ Cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (more if desired)

Directions
  1. Cream the sugar and butter. Beat eggs, add sour cream and add to sugar and butter.. Sift the dry ingredients and blend with the sour cream mixture. Add the remaining ingredients.
  2. Add a tablespoon of milk to mixture, if it’s too thick.
  3. Pour into a well greased bundt pan.
  4. Mix marble ingredients together and sprinkle on top of batter, use knife to marble into the batter, and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.

When it gets closer to Christmas, I will try this.


Christmas isn't my holiday. That is good news for me. That means I can happily make this one any time of the year!! I look forward to trying this one.
