Chicken Italiana Zoupa

- 1 cup diced onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup diced celery shopping list
- 3 large cloves garlic minced (2 tbsps minced) shopping list
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper shopping list
- 28 oz chicken stock College Inn or Swansons shopping list
- 2 cans Del Monte Italian diced tomatoes (14 oz cans) shopping list
- 1 10 oz package Perdue short cuts chicken Italian Grilled shopping list
- 1 can pettite peas shopping list
- 2 tsps italian seasoning shopping list
- 4 to 5 basil leaves torn not chopped shopping list
- 2 cubes Oxo chicken shopping list
- 2 to 3 cups water shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups of a small pasta shopping list
How to make it
- Over medium heat in a large skillet or pot add 2 tsps olive oil add onions, celery and garlic and cook till onions are tender. Add the pepper.
- Add chicken stock, oxo cubes, water and chicken that has been cut into 1/2 cubes. Cook for 10 minutes and add the tomatoes, basil and Italian seasonings.
- Add water and your pasta (uncooked) cook for 10 minutes and add your peas (canned or frozen).
- Serve with some fresh grated parmasan cheese and a slice of Italian bread - makes for a great meal. Bon Appettito
