How to make it

  • Preheat oven per back of cake mix box
  • Grease bundt pan with crisco(Instead of coating with flour-coat with confectioner/powdered sugar)
  • Next following directions on cake mix(Box advises 2/3 cups water/ instead use 1/2 cup pineapple juice+1/3 cup water per above)-Get pineapple juice from draining pineapples
  • Then add (drained) pineapples/ can of pumpkin/ raisins & pumpkin pie spice - mix well
  • Pour batter into prepared bundt pan, bake about 45-60 minutes until a knife inserted into cake comes out clean.
  • Let stand about 15 minutes before turning onto serving plate
  • After you've turned onto a serving plate let cake completely cool
  • Finally add cream cheese icing, I like to make icing & put in a decorative bowl so guest can choose if they want to add or eat their cake without it :)
