Holiday Cranberry Orange Glaze Recipe

A very good glaze for ham, turkey cornish hens or any puoltry dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cup cranberry juice
  • 3/4 cup Coutnry Style Orange juice with pulp
  • 4 tbl lightly packed brown sugar
  • 4 tbl cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated orange zest

Directions
  1. In a saucepan boil the cranberry juice
  2. Add Orange juice
  3. Add the brown sugar and the vinegar
  4. Boil the mixture until it is syrupy.
  5. Stir in the zest and keep the glaze warm.
  6. Brush over meat every 30-45 minutes during the 2nd half of roasting.
  7. (smaller roasts less time)
  8. If covering the meat during roasting, baste generously when doing the final browning.
