We love smoothies, make them all the time. Sounds divine with pure maple syrup. Sometimes I peel the bananas, freeze them whole, place in freezer container or ziploc bag. When I make the smoothie, I make it with a frozen banana! Learned this years ago from a famous smoothie place! :) Gonna make with maple syrup next time!
