How to make it

  • Beat the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla till it is very soft.
  • Stir in flour and butter.
  • Use a 8×8x8 inch buttered baking pan and place wax paper at the bottom of it
  • Preheated oven to 350°F oven. using upper heat only
  • spread 2 Tbs. of batter on the baking pan and bake in oven for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and press the cake evenly, if there is any bubbles poke it with a fork than press again with the bottom of a flat glass
  • Keep doing this step until the batter is finished.
  • Serve when the cake is cool.The whole process would take about 2 hours
