How to make it

  • Make slits in roast and stuff with garlic (as many cloves as you want).
  • Salt, pepper, and lightly flour roast.
  • Brown in hot oil in a stove top fry pan.
  • Transfer roast to 5 or 6-quart crock pot.
  • Make a pot of coffee and pour 3 cups over browned roast in crock pot.
  • Cook on low until meat is tender. (4 to 6 hours)
  • You can use de-caff, if desired.
  • This meat makes great sandwiches the next day."
  • shred beef after it is tender.
