Ingredients
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar clover honey
  • 3 tbsp. white wine vinegar or apple-cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano

Directions
  1. Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, lightly score chicken breasts on both sides.
  2. Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking pan with foil. Spray foil with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.
  3. Measure out 1/4 C honey.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together vinegar and dry mustard. Add honey, green onions, dijon mustard, thyme and oregano. Mix well.
  5. Place chicken in prepared pan. Brush chicken with half of honey mustard sauce.
  6. Bake, turning once and brusshing with remaining sauce, until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink, about 30 minutes.

We buy our honey buy the 1/2 gallon!!! how much is 1 jar of honey in this recipe???? Sounds great as you could guess my family LOVES honey!!!


I just use about one cup. That should be plenty.
