Potato Pie

- 2 onions thinly sliced shopping list
- 500gr beef or chicken mince (lean) shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons plain flour 2 Tablespoons tomato paste shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons hot sauce 2 stock Cube (beef or chicken) shopping list
- 2 Cups water shopping list
- 6 to 8 potatoes cooked and mashed shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly sauté onion and add mince, cook until well browned. Add the plain flour and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato paste, hot sauce, stock cube and 2 cups water. Stir and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stir occasionally to stop sticking. Pour into casserole dish and cover with mashed spud, (as much as you like). Serve and devour, (some like to eat this with tomato sauce).Both recipes are fully adjustable, once made you will work out what you want to add or delete.

Overall flavor good. Simmer this down until it is nice and thick or the casserole will be flimsy. Easy does it with the add-ins to the mashed potatoes.
