Potato Pie Recipe

    Potato Pie
This is a version of Sheppard's Pie. It called for 2 Tablespoons of hot sauce. I begged off only to one T.
The 20 minute simmer time is not enough to well thicken up the meat mixture, unless it is on a high simmer.
"Pour into casserole dish and cover with mashed spud, (as much as you like). Serve and devour" Just didn't seem like enough.
I baked it for half hour at 350 degrees until the spuds started to get brown tips then sprinkled on a three cheese topping and paprika, to melt.
Both potatoes and meat mixture need be on the thick side so the casserole will have some structure when plated.

I really have to try a Sheppard's Pie one day!

I know I have a long list (in my head) of certain dishes I want to try...but I keep forgetting to write it down! So I only remember when someone shows me what they made! I'm going to type my list and email it to my self! With my short term memory these days, I'll never get to try these dishes!

Now what were those recipes I wanted to try?

    Sheppard's Pie
    Osso Bucco
    Salisbury Steak
Cooking Whole Lobsters...have to be brave and just do it!
and alot more, but I can't remember! =(
