How to make it

  • COOK NAVY BEANS THE NIGHT BEFORE AND PLACE IN FRIGERATOR OVER NIGHT
  • CHOP ONION AND SET ASIDE.
  • CHOP THE BACON AND SET ASIDE OR BROWN IN SKILLET.
  • DRAIN THE PINEAPPLE AND SAVE JUICE. SET ASIDE.
  • MEASURE OUT BROWN SUGAR AND PLACE IN PINAPPLE JUICE AND MIX WELL THEN ADD THE CATSUP AND MIX AGAIN . SET ASIDE.
  • TAKE THE BEANS OUT OF THE FRIGERATOR AND PLACE IN A BIG ROASTING PAN ADD: ONION, BACON AND PINAPPLE. MIX THESE INGREDIENTS WELL THEN POUR THE PINEAPPLE,BROWN SUGAR AND CATSUP OVER THE BEANS. YOU CAN ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. MIX WELL AGAIN AND PLACE LID ON PAN AND PUT INTO THE OVEN. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 2 HRS OR TILL JUICE HAS COOKED INTO THE BEANS BUT NOT DRYED OUT SO CHECK OFTEN. IF THEY ARE STARTING TO DRY OUT ADD A LITTLE WATER.
