Crisp Corn Sticks

- 1 c plain yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 1/4 t salt shopping list
- 1/4 t baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 c vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 T light corn syrup shopping list
- 1 c buttermil, shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a mixing bowl; set aside.
- Combine oil, corn syrup, and buttermilk; mix well.
- Stir into dry ingredients.
- Place a well-greased cast-iron corn stick pan in 400 degree oven for 3 minutes or until a drop of water sizzles when dropped on pan.
- Remove pan from oven; spoon batter into pan, filling each section one-half full.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Note: Serve with the Dining In The Low Country Menu

Yum, I have two corn stick pans that I have never used yet, I will bookmark this so I can finally use my pans. Great post thanks for sharing, I know these must be very good.
