These are my favorite cookies, they are really big, chewy yet crisp and when in the mood for a ice cream sandwich, these make the worlds best. They make an awful lot - can't remember how many dozen but freeze exceptionally well and keep along time. ... More

Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 2 lbs. brown sugar
- 4 cups white sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 8 teaspoons soda
- 1 lb.oleo
- 3 lbs. peanut butter
- 18 cups oatmeal
- 1 lb. chocolate chips
- 1 lb. M&M candies or chocolate covered peanuts
- 1 lb. raisins
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix ingredients in order given.
- Using an Ice Scoop, scoop out dough and drop on cookie sheets, (I use parchmont paper, no need for greasing pans and they turn out beautiful) Place about 6 cookies to a sheet.
- Bake approximately 12 minutes or so - do not overbake.
- These freeze well and are really wonderful. They also make very good ice cream sandwiches
