How to make it

  • Whisk all ingredients except egg yolk in a bowl until well mixed then add egg yolk and whisk vigorously to emulsify.
  • Refrigerate and rewhisk before using.

    Sounds marvelous. I'm with jrein0254 about the chervil--love it, have to grow it myself, hard to do out here in non-coastal California.

    I'm curious about where you're from because some of the directions and ingredients are unfamiliar to me. Fresh chervil is very difficult to find in the US. Fortunately I have some growing in my garden. Also the recipe calls for 2Tb picked cucumbers. I'm assuming this means pickled cucumbers? There are many varieties of pickled cucumbers. Dill, sweet, gherkins, cornichons, etc
