Homemade Dijonnaise

- 1/2 stick salted butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups half and half warmed shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons non-grainy Dijon mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add flour and mix with a wire whisk until foamy, approximately 3 minutes.
- Add half and half and mustard then continue to stir for 5 minutes until thickened and hot.
- Gently stir in white pepper.
