I love my sweets with just butter. I love the casserole (everyone has a version). During the holidays Stouffers makes a apple sweetpotato side dish. Now, you can easily fine the candied sweet potatoes, you can find scalloped apples. Read more You use to find their apple sweet potatoes. Over the last few years I can not find them. I live in a major city that should find anything. I started looking for these in the freezer section in September...no luck...So last year I made my own. My mom had the great idea. I microwaved it so it was fast and simple and took little prep for turkey day. THinking adding a topping this year. Ingredients
- I love fresh sweet potatoes but for this I use Bruces canned. shopping list
- This is all by how you like it shopping list
- BIg can or cans of sweet potatoes (how much you need) shopping list
- Several small cans of apple pie filling or Large jar of apple pie filling shopping list
How to make it
- Just mix them together.
- Microwave...not sure how long depends on how much you make.
- Bake if you place on topping.
