How to make it

  • 1. Wash and soak berries for 1/2 hour.
  • 2. Drain and place berries in pot w/water.
  • 3. Boil five minutes and then simmer 10 minutes.
  • 4. Drain water, add brandy and both sugars and 1/4 C. of water.
  • 5. Stir gently and simmer another five minutes.
  • You may add more water if the sauce is too thick.
