Sesame Noodles

- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 3 tbsp. oriental sesame oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp.sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp. prepared chili sauce with garlic (in Oriental food section at grocery stores) shopping list
- 1 12 oz package Chinese water-style noodles or linguine shopping list
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into matchstick-size strips shopping list
How to make it
- Combine soy sauce, 2 tbsp. sesame oil, vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar and chili sauce in processor or blender. Blend until well combined. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill. Bring to room temperature before continuing.)
- Cook noodles in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite. Drain. Rinse under cold water to cool; drain well. Transfer to bowl. Toss with 1 tbsp. sesame oil. Add green onions and red bell pepper and toss. Add enough dressing to coat; toss.
