How to make it

  • lightly grease a shallow 8 - inch square cake pan
  • place butter , sugar and syrup in saucepan and cook over low heat ,stirring constantly until butter and sugar is melted and the mixture is well combined
  • remove the pan from heat and add oats with wooden spoon until well coated add choc chips and raisins and mix well
  • turn into prepared pan and press down well
  • bake@ 160 for + - 30 mins
  • cool slightly ,then mark into bars when almost cold cut the bars transfer to a wire rack until cold
  • enjoy with your favourite cuppa
