Sweet Marie Bars

These are easy no-bake bars. Perfect for the busy holiday season
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 2 cups Rice Krispies shopping list
- 1 cup peanuts, chopped shopping list
- ICING: shopping list
- 3 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 3 tbsp. cocoa shopping list
- 2 tbsp. hot water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar, peanut butter and corn syrup.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Take off heat quickly and add rice krispies and peanuts.
- Press into a greased 8"x8" pan and prepare icing
- Cream the butter and blend in the cocoa, hot water and vanilla.
- Add the icing sugar slowly and beat until creamy.
