Green Bean and Mushroom Casserole

- 1 1kg. pkg frozen French style green beans shopping list
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 roasted red pepper, chopped (fresh or canned) shopping list
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shopping list
- dash worcestershire sauce shopping list
- dash Tobasco shopping list
- freshly ground pepper to taste shopping list
- 3/4 slivered almonds, toasted shopping list
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
How to make it
- Cook beans for 5 minutes, drain and set aside
- Saute mushrooms, onions in butter until tender.
- In large bowl, mix all ingredients except 1 cup cheese and almonds.
- Pour into a greased 9"x13" dish.
- Top with almonds and cheese and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
