Maple Brown Sugar Frosting

- 2.25 c confectioners' sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c dark brown sugar shopping list
- 8 T unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/8 t salt shopping list
- 1/2 c real maple syrup shopping list
- 1 t vanilla shopping list
- 2 T whole milk (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl with a mixer set on medium speed, beat sugars, butter and salt until combined.
- Continue beating and add the maple syrup in a slow steady stream.
- Add the vanilla.
- Increase speed to medium high and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
- If necessary, add up to 2 T milk to achieve a smooth spreading consistancy.
