No Peek Beef Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds lean stew beef cut into 1 inch pieces

1 envelope onion soup mix

1- 10 1/2 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup

1-4 ounce can of whole mushrooms

1/2 cup of red wine

Directions

Combine all ingredients in your crock pot and stir together well

Cover and cook on low for 8-12 hours

On high for 5-6 hours

I like using a Merlot, I go by the adage never cook with any wine you would'nt drink

I have made this with the golden mushroom soup instead of the wine. I used one can of each mushroom soup i believeand it was VERY good.
