No Peek Beef Casserole Recipe
This is a basic beef casserole that has SO much flavor. Good served over noodles (my fav.) or rice.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds lean stew beef cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1- 10 1/2 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1-4 ounce can of whole mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of red wine

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in your crock pot and stir together well
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8-12 hours
  3. On high for 5-6 hours
  4. I like using a Merlot, I go by the adage never cook with any wine you would'nt drink

This sounds yummy indeed. I am wondering what it would taste like with golden mushroom soup and I think that I will find out very soon as I love golden mushroom soup. Thanks for the post.


I have made this with the golden mushroom soup instead of the wine. I used one can of each mushroom soup i believeand it was VERY good.
