Everythings Peachy Spareribs Dated 1968

- 3 pounds spareribs, quartered shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 large can peach halves in heavy syrup shopping list
- 1 cup catsup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4-cup minced white onion shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard shopping list
- 1/4-teaspoon ground cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Arrange ribs in a shallow roasting pan, meaty side up.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Drain peaches saving the syrup.
- In a saucepan, blend the syrup with the catsup, Worcestershire, onion, flour, mustard, cloves, salt and pepper and heat to boiling.
- Pour over ribs.
- Bake at 375 for one hour and 30 minutes.
- Baste often, turning occasionally. Place peaches (cut side down) around the ribs.
- Bake 10 more minutes, basting with sauce.
