How to make it

  • Cook beans in salted water for two hours, drain.
  • In a large skillet saute onions in butter until transparent.
  • In a separate skillet, brown the ground beef and drain well.
  • Add to onions, add tomatoes, breaking up any big pieces.
  • Add seasonings, beer and beans.
  • Cook another twenty minutes or so.
  • Serve with bacon sprinkled on top.
