Casual Asparagus Recipe
Eating asparagus can be a pain, and it looks so fancy. This dish is easy to make and EAT. It pairs perfectly with a lightly breaded white fish. (cod rocks!)

Ingredients
  • Asparagus cut into 1 inch sections, or I use simply steam green giant asparagus- no sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. white cooking wine (if using good white wine, fancy you, add some salt)
  • 2 Tbsp. salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 shakes of hot paprika
  • 1Tbsp lime juice

Directions
  1. Microwave asparagus, or if using fresh, steam asparagus. (Cut into sections before cooking because it is easier)
  2. While asparagus is cooking add wine to a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  3. After one minute, add butter, melt completely.
  4. Stir frequently!
  5. Add lime juice, and spices, let simmer until slightly more reduced.
  6. Add garlic and turn to low heat.
  7. Stir, stir, stir.
  8. It should have darkened a bit in color, and it will smell great!
  9. Add asparagus, coat evenly with sauce.
  10. Remove from heat and enjoy.
