How to make it

  • Combine veggies and stir in salt, let stand for 3 hours.
  • Drain
  • Combine all other ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Add veggies and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Seal in jars.
  • Makes 3 ½ to 4 pints

    My grandmother used to make this, and my mom and I still do!! It is fabulous!! Everyone should try it!! We can't eat a burger or hot dog without it!! :)
