Ingredients

2 pounds bulk roll pork sausage

1 chopped bell pepper

1 chopped medium white onion

1-1/2 cups diced celery

1 cup raw rice

1 package dry chicken noodle soup mix

1 can cream of mushroom soup

3-1/2 cups boiling water

1/2 cup chopped almonds

Directions

Brown sausage then drain well.

Add bell pepper, onion and celery then sauté until vegetables wilt.

Add rice and stir well.

Add dry soup mix and canned soup then stir in boiling water.

Combine all ingredients except almonds in 2-quart casserole.

Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

After 30 minutes mix lightly with fork.

Sprinkle with almonds.
