Ingredients

How to make it

  • Clean beans by pouring them a handful at a time into a strainer, picking out rocks and rotten-looking beans, then run water over the beans, moving them around with your hand.
  • Put in crock pot.
  • Put water about half-way up side of crock pot. (Sorry I don't measure - I just follow the tips of crock pot use!)
  • Put in the country ham bits without removing fat.
  • Add a little salt.
  • Cook for 6 hours(medium high on mine).
  • *You can eat the country ham bits too! It is really tender!
  • *Remember, I like mine kind of firm and with thinner juice, so this is how these will turn out!

Love pinto beans. Of course I'd have to put hot stuff in mine but that's just personal taste. sounds good. TY.
