I just love pecans. I have listed several different pecan receipes. These would also make a great gift.

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Directions
  1. Place butter in a small dish or glass measuring cup. Heat in microwave on high for 20 seconds, or until melted.
  2. Place pecans in plastic bag. Pour melted butter over nuts and toss in bag.
  3. Mix together sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over pecans in bag. shake to coat evenly. Spread pecans on paper plate.
  4. Cook in microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until hot.

These sound just like what I was looking for. I love the Chopped Salad at Outback SteakHouse and their salad has finely chopped cinn. pecans in it.
