Almond Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg, amaretto, and almonds. Gradually mix in the flour until well blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 5 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cookies are lightly colored. Cookies do not spread - roll out

    Does this cookie poof high? Archway (Lance) cookies use to sell the ALMOND cookie, to which I would clean up all the shelves in the neighborhood.

    They no longer make them, and they do NOT share the recipe, so I am IN SEARCH of compiling this recipe.

    I know it has to be italian, and I am hedging is made with merely egg whites and just maybe cake flour, so I am still alchemizing this recipe - don't know.

    This sounds like a great receipe and I might make it for Easter as I am going to visit a cousin and her partner loves Almond Cookies; so if I do make it will definitely let you know how they come out.
