Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cups White Sugar
  • Sprinkle of Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter (Smooth or Crunchy your choice)

Directions
  1. In a large kettle mix both Sugars, Milk & Salt and bring to a boil over high heat (uncovered)
  2. Reduce the heat to medium, cook about 15 minutes, or until it forms a SOFT ball when dropped in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat immediately!
  4. Add the 1 Teaspoon of Butter, and the Peanut Butter, and stir with a wooden spoon until it loses it's gloss (I use the mixer because I always end up breaking the wooden spoon, plus I get to lick the beater while the fudge is cooling in the fridge).
  5. If the fudge starts to harden, quickly add a small amount of milk, usually not necessary.
  6. Pour into a 9" x 11" lightly greased pan and set in refrigerator to cool slightly until cutting into squares.
  7. Makes about 45 squares
