Sugar Shock Peanut Butter Fudge
From june 16 years agoIngredients
- 1-1/2 Cups milk shopping list
- 1 Cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 Cups White sugar shopping list
- Sprinkle of salt shopping list
- 1/2 Teaspoon butter shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 Cup peanut butter (Smooth or Crunchy your choice) shopping list
How to make it
- In a large kettle mix both Sugars, Milk & Salt and bring to a boil over high heat (uncovered)
- Reduce the heat to medium, cook about 15 minutes, or until it forms a SOFT ball when dropped in cold water.
- Remove from heat immediately!
- Add the 1 Teaspoon of Butter, and the Peanut Butter, and stir with a wooden spoon until it loses it's gloss (I use the mixer because I always end up breaking the wooden spoon, plus I get to lick the beater while the fudge is cooling in the fridge).
- If the fudge starts to harden, quickly add a small amount of milk, usually not necessary.
- Pour into a 9" x 11" lightly greased pan and set in refrigerator to cool slightly until cutting into squares.
- Makes about 45 squares
