Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large kettle mix both Sugars, Milk & Salt and bring to a boil over high heat (uncovered)
  • Reduce the heat to medium, cook about 15 minutes, or until it forms a SOFT ball when dropped in cold water.
  • Remove from heat immediately!
  • Add the 1 Teaspoon of Butter, and the Peanut Butter, and stir with a wooden spoon until it loses it's gloss (I use the mixer because I always end up breaking the wooden spoon, plus I get to lick the beater while the fudge is cooling in the fridge).
  • If the fudge starts to harden, quickly add a small amount of milk, usually not necessary.
  • Pour into a 9" x 11" lightly greased pan and set in refrigerator to cool slightly until cutting into squares.
  • Makes about 45 squares
