Leaf Lettuce in Sour Cream Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash lettuce leafs then tear them in half lengthwise
  • Combine lettuce and onion, stir together in bowl.
  • Mix together remaining ingredients
  • Pour over lettuce and onion
  • Toss well.
  • Cover and chill well.
  • Options: Any leaf lettuce or combination of greens can be used.
  • Or use 2 cups of cucumbers thinly sliced instead of lettuce.
  • Goes great with any meat or main dish.

    Oh my. I've just made this to chill for dinner (to go with pork pot roast and honey glazed carrots), and I fear it might not make it till then! ;-) Absolutely DELISH.
