How to make it

  • Lightly saute' the garlic in the olive oil. Do not let this brown or it will be too bitter.
  • Add the clams., their liquid, the wine, and the herbs and simmer. Cook until the flavors come together and season with pepper to taste.
  • In a serving bowl pour this sauce over the pasta.
  • Pass the cheese around.

    In another similar recipe, they let the sauce simmer with halved-cherry tomatoes. Great eats.

    This was very good. I put the pasta directly from the pot into the sauce pan and let it simmer for just a bit to absorb some of the sauce.
